GENERAL CONTEST RULES

FAMILY FRIENDLY STANDARDS

  • Sexual content
  • Profanity
  • Obscene or lewd gestures
  • Political messaging
  • Gory, violent, bloody, disturbing, or excessively dark costumes

If a costume is deemed inappropriate for a family audience, staff may request adjustments. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and/or being asked to leave the event.

COSTUME COVERAGE GUIDELINES

Narnia Faire is a family-friendly event, so costumes must meet basic coverage standards.

Costumes must cover:

  • The complete buttocks

Cosplay for Christ

Jess is a Jesus loving Nerd! She was introduced to cosplay through attending her first comic con and instantly fell in love with the creativity and the community. She started a Cosplay for Christ small group through her church where they had fun growing together in their faith and craft of cosplay. She has won several best in shows and judges choice awards throughout her cosplay career. Now she focuses her efforts on the Christian Cosplay community through her Cosplay for Christ Podcast and connecting with others at local cons. Jess wants to encourage and strengthen her fellow Christian cosplayers to know who they are in Christ and to be everything God is calling them to be, in and out of cosplay!
