Help us keep the faire family friendly by joining our Code of Conduct Committee. The committee helps pre-approve all vendors and performances by making sure the submitted work is family appropriate. As a committee member you can expect a one hour meeting bimonthly and about one hour of work a week pre-approving. You will also be expected to take at least one 4-hour shift at the faire where you will make hour rounds helping answer questions, point people in the right direction, and gently remind people of the code of conduct rules. For your help you will be awarded 2 free tickets to the event.
Help capture the wonder of Narnia by volunteering with our media team. As a media team volunteer you can expect a one hour bimonthly meeting to discuss event photography ideas and up to 1-3 hours of work a week (based on your own discretion) staging photos or editing promotional content. Media Team members will also assist with promotional video shooting as they are avaliable. You will take at least 1 four-hour shift capturing photos or videos of the event. For your help you will be awarded 2 free tickets
Help bring Narnia to life by joining the set design team. As a set design team volunteer you can expect a one hour bimonthly meeting to discuss set design ideas and update the team on your project progress. You can also expect anywhere from 1-3 hours of work a week (based on your own discretion) creating set pieces. Set Design team members will help with set up on Thursday night and Friday morning as well as take down on Sunday evening. For your help you will be awarded 2 free tickets.
Help us design the set up for the prize booth and source and create unique Narnia themed items to be purchased with quest points. As a prize booth volunteer you can expect a one hour meeting bimonthly and anywhere from 1-3 hours of work (based on your own discretion) a week creating Narnia gift shop items and set decorations (such as labels and signs). You will also be expected to work at least one 4-hour slot at the prize booth and to help with booth set up and tear down on the day of your slot. For your help you will be awarded 2 free tickets to the event.
Help create the unique interactive quests at the faire! As a quest booth volunteer you can expect a one hour meeting bimonthly to discuss quest creation ideas and update the team on your progress. Be ready for anywhere from 1-3 hours of work a week (based on your own discretion) as you create the interactive elements for your quests and set decorations (such as labels and signs). You will also be expected to work at least one 4-hour slot at the quest booth handing out cards and answering questions and to help with booth set up and tear down on the day of your slot. For your help you will be awarded 2 free tickets to the event.
Help create the booths for the interactive walkthrough that showcases the biblical parallels in Narnia! Work with a team to write the short explanations of the biblical parallels, come up with multiple mini-games, and set design memorable moments throughout the Narnia story. As a quest booth volunteer you can expect a one hour meeting bimonthly to discuss biblical parallel booth ideas and update the team on your progress. Be ready for anywhere from 1-3 hours of work a week (based on your own discretion) as you create the interactive elements for your stop on the tour. You will also be expected to work at least one 4-hour slot at your team’s biblical parallel booth giving the talk, overseeing the activity and answering questions. Lastly you will get to assist with booth set up and tear down on the day of your slot. For your help you will be given 2 free tickets to the faire.
Help create the historical Narnia exhibits at the faire! As a museum booth volunteer you can expect a one hour meeting bimonthly to discuss Narnia lore exhibit ideas and update the team on your progress. Be ready for anywhere from 1-3 hours of work a week (based on your own discretion) as you create the interactive elements for your booth. You will also be expected to work at least one 4-hour slot at the museum booth giving talks on your items and answering questions and to help with booth set up and tear down on the day of your slot. For your help you will be awarded 2 free tickets to the faire.
Help protect Narnia by volunteering as a sword fighting torunament volunteer. As a volunteer you can expect a one hour bimonthly meeting to discuss tournament bracket design, rules, and prizes. You will take at least 1 three-hour shift running the sword fighting tournament and assist with set up and take down at the beginning of your shift day. For your help you will be awarded free admission.
Help patrons celebrate the beauty of The Emperor Beyond the Sea's creation by volunteering to help with the costume contest and talent show. As a volunteer you can expect a one hour bimonthly meeting to discuss costume rules, preperations, and prizes. You will take at least 1 four-hour shift running either the costume contest or talent show and assist with set up and take down at the beginning of your shift day. For your help you will be awarded free admission.
Help travelers create beautiful works of art in the craft booth. As a craft booth volunteer you can expect a one hour bimonthly meeting to discuss craft creation ideas and update the team on your progress securing craft materials. You will also get to take at least 1 four-hour shift manning the craft booth and to help with booth set up and tear down on the day of your slot. For your help you will be awarded free admission.
Help patrons send fun messages to their friends by writing out their letters, decking them out in string and wax seals and delivering the packages! As a courier booth volunteer you can expect a one hour debrief meeting at least a week before the fair to discuss your position and answer questions. You will be expected to work at least one 4-hour slot at the courier booth delivering letters or helping patrons choose stationary and to help with booth set up and tear down on the day of your slot. For your help you will be given free admission into the faire.
Help bring people into the world of Narnia by running the ticket booth. As a ticket taker volunteer you can expect to work a four hour timeslot and arrive one hour early to the faire to have the job explained. For your help you will be awarded free admission.
Help protect the creatures of Narnia by volunteering as security. As a security volunteer you can expect to work a four hour timeslot. For your help you will be awarded free admission
